Wedding in Wenatchee

Well the Ellis' just never stop. This weekend we woke up early on Saturday to drive east. Justin, one of Brian's friends from law school got married. We drove over Steven's Pass (which is beautiful!) and stopped in Leavenworth on the way there. First time and I thought it was very fun. I really wanted to go tubing down the river but we didn't have quite enough time. We did enjoy some ice cream, fudge, and an international accordian festival. Then we stopped at a huge farmer's market with a petting zoo and a zippy tractor ride so Zach had a great time. Plus our hotel had a pool so Zach got to go swimming twice. After staying up too late at the wedding we drove back the next morning, stopping at a reptile zoo. Saw all kinds of interesting snakes and turtles and such. Fun times had by all. Everyone was a little tired on Monday.

House

So we are getting interesting news on our possible house. We don't know if we are going to get it or not still. Not sure what is going to happen. Good thing we have a lawyer in the family to interpret all the facts. I don't have a picture but you can see it by going to google maps. Enter in the address 1002 102nd St SW, Seattle and click on street view. I'm going to start looking at houses again on Monday. Wish us luck.

We found a better one and are moving on.

Hiking at Ranier

Yesterday on a whim we decided to go see that beautiful mountain pictured to the right. It took far too long to drive there but we went on about an hour like hike. The Rainier National Forest is huge. It is so big that we never actually saw the mountain. It was a great time in a beautiful place. The highlight was seeing Zach cross a log bridge over a raging river. We took some great pictures, but there was no memory card in the camera. Better luck next time.

A beautiful Saturday

Ok still no pictures, but I have until Sunday night I should think. Today was a beautiful Saturday in Seattle. In fact, this is probably the best May and June we have had since we moved here. It's about time. And in case I haven't said it enought - I love the summertime!

So today we started by heading to the mall to buy a wedding present for friends for next weekend. Then we checked out washers and dryers in case we ever get to move into our new house. Then it was down to Alki to catch some of a beach volleyball tournament that my friends were playing in. It was a perfect day to be at the beach. My friends however were at a tournament down in Olympia and we completely miscommunicated. Zach got to play in the sand and we stayed to hang out for almost two hours so it wasn't a waste. After lunch and a nap (for me) we decided to check out the pool at Lincoln Park. Very fun place to swim with the family. For dinner Brian lit a fire outside and we cooked hot dogs and smores. A fun filled summertime day.

Pictures are coming - I promise!
