Its that time of year, the tree was procured and the lights were pulled out.
Actually, the true story involves Shannon pulling out 7 boxes of Christmas decorations the Saturday morning before Thanksgiving, then, once the boxes were all out, leaving to coach volleyball the rest of the weekend/week.
Zach was excited to decorate the tree. He rushed us through dinner, even helped clean some of the dishes. We then retired to the Zen room, lit a fire in the fire place, and began decorating the tree. During any pause in the action, Zach would begin running laps and singing Christmas songs!
Tyler didn’t quite “get” what was going on, but he enjoyed the time with the family. He was also extremely aware of the camera and anytime I pulled it out to take a shot of him, he would come running towards the camera, point at the lens (trying to touch it) and yelling “cheese.” Though I think he pronounces is chesse.
